INGLEWOOD – It was a demoralizing loss for the Chargers Sunday afternoon at SoFi Stadium as injuries continued to mount and the team had no answers for slowing down the Jaguars' operation on both sides of the ball.
The Chargers did not look very good in Week 3 to say the least. The team looked sloppy in every phase of the game. Whether it was lack of preparation or underestimating the opponent, this game did not go the way Chargers fans envisioned.
Despite the fact that he’s been dealing with a rib injury, Justin Herbert still managed to close out the game as his Los Angeles Chargers were blown out by the Jacksonville Jaguars, 38-10, on Sunday night.
The Bolts could use a game to wash their latest loss away. The Chargers just took a 38-10 haymaker loss to the chin courtesy of the Jaguars. Salt was essentially dumped in the wound on Sunday afternoon as the Chargers watched several Chargers exit the game due to injury, including left tackle Rashawn Slater and edge rusher Joey Bosa.
Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a groin injury. Bosa was trying to circle around left end in the first quarter when he hit the ground and grabbed at his upper right leg.
Justin Herbert is playing, but he isn’t playing as well as he usually does. The fractured rib cartilage obviously is affecting him. He started 3-of-7 for 22 yards with an interception and a lost fumble.
The Los Angeles Chargers officially elevated TE Richard Rodgers to their active roster on Saturday for Week 3’s game against the Jaguars. Rodgers, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Packers back in 2014 out of California.
